The items which you have asked to be done a service with are commonly forgotten especially if you are in no hurry to get them. For this reason, you should get your items a few days before your moving date so that you will not leave them behind.
Personal records
It is important to collect your records including those of your dental, vaccination, medical and even veterinarian. You can also include the prescription copies you have gotten from your doctor so that you can remember what medicine you need to take. In addition, do not forget to pack your family’s records as well. Once you have packed these important documents, you must take them with you during the moving process so that you are guaranteeing they do not get lost.
Addresses and phone numbers
You can keep a list of the important people whom you might need to get in touch with. This can be done by making a list of the contact details of your friends, colleagues or even you rold business contacts.

Make sure that each of your labeled luggage and boxes contain your new address and contact number. You can also carry along a copy with you in your pocket. Also, you have to make sure that the moving company you hired has the address as well.
Hidden valuables and spare keys
Always remember to collect your hidden items such as spare car keys and door keys before moving. Since they are seldomly used, you might have a hard time remembering where they are. But nonetheless, make sure that you have collected them.

Make sure that you have gone to your post office and have registered your new address with them. Also, you must contact your subscriptions too.

Commonly, this is the item which many people forget to leave. You have to remember to remove it from your car and hand them over to your next tenants.
Lastly, you must remember to get in touch with your bank as well so that you can check if they have a branch at the new location. If they don’t then you can ask them how they can transfer your money from them to the new area. In addition, the bank will give you some information if you are moving to another country and how you can transfer your money to that currency.
